It's team day, hun!
The whole gang will be reuiniting in London this week for our BMD day followed by the mini team day! Wednesday is bound to be a blast, with our lovely manager Jessie having organised for a super cool company called Body Talk to come in and do some work with us. I have no doubt it'll be both fun and massively helpful, so the biggest shoutout to JVM for organising!

Aside from this, Mr Matt is supporting Society Cafe with their Cardiff venue opening today (Monday) - no doubt bringing the good vibes we all know and love to bits. He is also working hard on spring/summer drinks menu's with a whole host of places, and is in talks with Living Things (the tasty prebiotic soda brand) about a cool collab using their new Cherry drink!

In ye olde London, Rosie has been a busy bee! From jetting off to Liverpool to help out with the 92 Degrees latte art throwdown, to working hard on Bloomtown Festival, she's been going non-stop. She's also got a couple of exciting things in the works such as meeting with Bauhaus Warehaus to get something fun going, and planning an event in Margate with Low Life!
A fair few of us will be attending the Mr Lyan - Salt & Vinegar talk on Tuesday evening, which will be fantastic! (this will be my fourth talk this week with Ryan - good thing he's such an interesting and knowledgable dude...) And hopefully, everyone will have a little bit of time to rest and recuperate after DCF and GCF!
Stay tuned for the next edition in which we will undoubtedly only be talking about LCF!

What the HELLIE are people up to outside of work?

Mr Matt has just spent his weekend camping in Cheddar - yes like the cheese - and is on a mission to try and press some loverly spring flowers by sandwiching them between some paper and two books and hoping to god that it'll work. Personally, I think it will, but you never know.

Amelia has just got a new KITTEN!!!! What the hellie!!!! Congrats on the baby, I am inordinately jealous!!! As a side not (because nothing compares to a kitten) she is also refereeing a power lifting competition, and (rightfully) sleeping after DCF!

Yitzin is excited to spend time with the whoooole team and recommends lots of cuddles and spending time together outside of work - I second this notion!

Calvin is getting a MASSAGE!! WOOO! I love a massage - honestly the most baller use of the wellbeing budget possible. He thirds Yitzin's notions, quoting that 'people attend & host social events 70% less than 20 years ago so reminder to get ur friends together and have a boogie if you haven't in a while!!' which is so true and important!!

Laura is either doing or recommending doing a book swap which is an idea that I LOVE! She says, and I quote, 'giving someone you like, something that you enjoy in the hope that they enjoy it too is a very cute act of love!!!' which I agree with 10000000%.

Ollie is going to Copenagen for the first time! He better bring me back a souvenir or I'll cry probably, but it sounds super exciting! His advice for this next little while is to have a spring clean! He seems very passionate about this, going so far as to say its 'liberating' which I would respect if I was the kind of person who could manage to stay on task long enough to actually do a spring clean.

Rosie is having a weekend off. This is probably my favourite one, sorry, and she recommends everyone takes some time for themselves to rest and recharge which is real good advice in a busy and social job like ours.

And yours truly is away to Inverness this weekend, following a week of travelling to and from London, following GCF, following a week of looking after the cutest kitties ever. I want y'all to do some self care this week! Whether it be a face mask, a bath, going for a wander without your phone, playing some silly videos games, whatever! If it makes you happy, make time to do it. I love y'all and am looking forward to seeing you tomorrow <3
Peace out - Sm4shton
